SCOPE OF WORKS
Cappa Construction and Maintenance were contracted by Stockland to assess and refurbish steel structures in the Optus commercial complex in Macquarie Park.
After identifying defective areas, Cappa developed and executed a repair methodology that addressed the corrosion in a cost-effective way, while adhering to the access and noise constraints.
Works included pneumatic bristle blasting of the corroded steel and re-coating of paint via hand brushing/rolling.
